Five Questions: SayUncle

Continuing with the 5 Questions Meme, I’ve got my interview for SayUncle:
- You’ve said in the past that you’re not opposed to all “common sense” gun regulation, just most. What, to you, constitutes acceptable gun regulation? In particular, I’m talking about regulations that do not currently exist but which you either support, or at least do not oppose.
- Getting a dog: From a reputable breeder, or from a rescue group?
- Mary-Ann or Ginger?
- You often refer to yourself as a “small-l” libertarian. You believe that government should be severely limited in what it can and can’t do, and that taxation should be minimal. In your view, what specifically should the government (all levels, not just federal) be able to do; how should it pay for it; and do you really expect that a system such as you describe can, you know, work?
- Thibodeaux: Real or made up?
That’s my list. I still need to interview four more bloggers (and I still hold out hope for Joe and Jeff (and have half a mind to interview our own Kevin T. Keith). Any other takers?
“common sense” gun regulation is a bogus term. Even people who want to ban guns totally think they’re in favor of “common sense” gun regulation. If they didn’t see it as sensible, they wouldn’t be in favor of it. It is basically a rhetorical way to sweep serious differences under the rug by using a term that can apply to anyone.

You can interview me too, but I don’t know that I have enough readers to take on the task of finding an additional 5 interviewees.
Maybe send an interview request to SKBubba himself.

Well, virtually everything is a relative (”bogus”) term. What I meant was “what’s commmon sense to him.” Uncle, at least, knew what I was talking about.
