Osama Speaks
Posted by Kevin

I have very little interest in what Bin Laden says on the tape. I would just like to point out that five years is a long time for a mass murderer and chief propogandist to be allowed to run free.

Agreed. Especially when he’s “wanted: dead or alive”. And let’s forget that 25 million dollar ransom was offered for him.

We are decimating Iraq. We are wasting millions and evil corporate America is taking billions. Al Qaeda is stronger because of us and we are losing. Bush lies!!! We are losing in Iraq and our body count is piling up! Our Homeland Security sucks! Bush lies a lot! Pull out now and everything will be great!

I can see why you have no interest in what Bin Laden says. It very closely parallels the left wing liberal rhetoric we hear trumpeted in the liberal press daily!

If you don’t believe me read the transcript for yourselves. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,182192,00.html

Who is “allowing” Osama run free? How ignorant can you be? Why are you dissing the fine men of the military who are looking for him?

You’re right. I suppose we should show more respect to those 15 or 20 people. But that shouldn’t preclude us from complaining that there ought to be more of them, or that Osama should have been a higher priority than a has-been two-bit dictator that posed no direct threat to us.

    Fred,

Don’t worry man. These liberals are going to continiue to rattle off complaints with no regard for our country. I remember Tgirsh pointing out that Saddam was missing. Guess he can’t do that any longer. Eventually our fine servicemen will find Bin Laden. Then we will kill him real good.

Umm, that’s because you can walk and chew gum in the same place. Unfortunately, Iraq (where our troops are) and the Pakistan/Afghan border area (where Osama likely is) are nowhere near the same place. It’s awfully tough to walk and chew gum at the same time when the gum is over 1,000 miles away from you. :)

You’re right, I can’t, assuming I ever even made much hay about the former.

Let me get on the record right now saying that finding bin Laden would be a good thing, no matter who it benefits or hurts politically. And my strong preference is to capture him alive. Kill him, and we only make a martyr of him.

What a nonsensical post by tg! Our troops are in many places. They are not in one place. Ever heard of Germany, S. Korea, Phillipines, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Spain, England etc. Do you ever think things through before you post? If we are not other places besides Iraq, how did we bomb the gathering of terrorists in Pakistan. You are a strange person.

    Fred:

Thank you for helping to make my point. We have far more troops in, for example, Germany (where we’re virtually certain bin Laden ain’t) than in Afghanistan and Pakistan, where we’re almost certain he is. If finding bin Laden is anywhere near the top of our priority list, we sure haven’t been acting that way.

    Tgirsch,

Do you think that the troops are actually looking behind doors, under boxes and the such? Is that why we should pull them all out of Germany, so that we have more people that can do this?

The fact is you don’t have a clue how many people are involed in the search for this killer. Fact is you have no idea of the sophistication or methods being used.

How can you possibly suggest finding bin Laden is not anywhere near the top of our priority list?

It’s ok for you and the rest of the liberals to hate Bush. Heck, it’s even expected. Don’t let your hatred of Bush spill over on to our military. I have complete confidence they are doing everything possible to find the (delete this for me so everyone thinks I said something REAL bad).
