Red-ick! Red-ick!

Sorry, Jeff, I couldn’t resist!
That’s the problem with having a one-man team: when that one guy has a bad game, you’ve got problems.
Meanwhile, my wife’s Memphis Tigers advance to the Elite Eight. In a way, I’m sad about the Duke loss, because I would have liked for it to be our Tigers who eliminated them. ![]()

Hats off to the Tigers — both LSU and Memphis.
I wish I could disagree with you … but I can’t. When the star of your team … well … sux … on a given night … it is hard to overcome.
I like Memphis … been a while since they have been a force to be reckon’d with. Maybe I will pull for them … since my conference (ACC) has gone down in flames. :-/
Anybody but UConn!
LSU is fun to watch. Memphis, on the other hand, could not throw a rock in the ocean.
Yeah, that was some of the worst basketball I’ve seen in a long time. I’m convinced that had the basket been a black hole, the Tigers still would have found a way to miss.
Of course, it doesn’t help that the refs called a tight game (and, it seemed to me, awfully one-sided). Still, the Tigers were missing shots they should have made, and their coach just sat there and didn’t seem to make any adjustments.
At this point, I’m for George Mason!
