Inappropriate Observation

Just watched The Daily Show, and arrived at this conclusion: The female anchor on Aljazeera English is smokin’ hot. That is all.
UPDATE: She has a name, of course. It’s Rita Farhi.

Speaking of TDS, what’s up with the new correspondents? Only the senior black correspondent and resident expert are funny. The rest suck. Samantha B has always sucked.
While I mostly agree, I think Aasif Mandvi is one of the best correspendents they’ve ever had. Only problem is, we don’t see nearly enough of him.
But frankly, I think the correspondents have ALWAYS sucked. Corddry was annoying as hell, Ed Helms was only occasionally okay, ditto for Jason Jones. The only good ones they’ve ever had, in my memory, are Colbert, Mandvi, Hodgman, and the senior black correspondent.
Then again, most of the correspondent pieces are too mean-spirited for my liking anyway, so I’ve always found that to be the weak part of the show.
Some of my favorite correspondents were Brian Unger (I still remember him doing a piece on hurricanes or something, standing in gradually deepening water), A. Whitney Brown, Vance Degeneres and Mo Rocca.
Oh and of course Beth Littleford.
Maryam Nemazee is even hotter.
