Firefox Bleg

How come there’s no “Print” option in my right-click menu? How do I make there be one? IE has one. And I’m at a web page that I’m supposed to print, only it opened in a new window that doesn’t have any menus or toolbars, so without the context-sensitive “Print” option, I can’t print.
Firefox is a wonderful product otherwise. How could they have overlooked this?
UPDATE: Commenter Paul Kim provides a solution in comments. It’s non-trivial, but it’s a solution that works. Thanks!

Hey there — found your blog via Technorati. I’m not sure why “Print” isn’t available by default in the context menu, but here’s a solution. Fair warning: it’s a little bit involved.
1. Download the Menu Editor add-on for Firefox here
2. Install, and restart Firefox
3. Go to Tools > Add-ons
4. From the Add-ons Manager dialog select the Menu Editor extension and then click on the Preferences button for Menu Editor
5. From the Options for Menu Editor dialog, click “Advanced Mode” (down at the bottom right of the dialog)
6. In the Advanced Mode dialog, select the “File” option from the dropdown menu on the right under “Advanced menu items”
7. You should see “Print” as an available menu item on the right. Click and drag “Print” to the left side of the dialog in the area under “Edit menu”. Place it wherever you like.
Like I said, a lot of steps.
But hopefully this helps.
Best,
Paul

Klevenstein:
I always forget I can do that. But most of the time, when I’m printing something from a browser, I’m not printing the whole thing. Instead, I’m usually printing a selection. So what I’ve gotten in the habit of doing is using the mouse to select a section, right click, “Print” and then click “selection” instead of “all” or “pages.” I tend to do things either all-mouse or all-keyboard, and rarely mix unless absolutely necessary.
Paul:
Thanks, that did the trick perfectly!
