I Blame Kevin

For this. Now it’s Disney’s The Stanley Cuptm, dammit.

In other news, though, I called it, even if I was off by a game.

Why Kevin’s fault? Because before the playoffs even started, he was saying that the Ducks were going to win the cup. And then, to double-dog curse things, he changed his vote (in the comments of the above post) to Ottawa.

Anaheim shouldn’t even have a stinking team, much less a Cup. Bettman’s destruction of the league is nearly complete. Once every goalie starts wearing pads 2.5 times wider than the goalie himself, like J.S. Giguerre does, the destruction will be complete. (Seriously, have you looked at that guy? He makes Patrick-friggin’-Roy’s padding look sparse.)

The only silver lining is that I forgot the game was on tonight, so I didn’t have to suffer through it.

    Feh. The only silver lining I can find is that the word “mighty” won’t be on the Cup. Oh, and that the Michelin Man didn’t win the Conn. I can’t believe the Sens lived up to their Choke label so easily.

    Well, tonight we can get begin to get over it as the Pockmark Don leads his band of preachers’ daughters against Lebron and eleven extras from “White Men Can’t Jump.”

    It’ll be a victory for the Cavs if Bruce Bowen doesn’t end Lebron’s career, or if he isn’t given the Jimmy Snuka treatment by The Fresh Prince of San Antonio.

    Even more painful, they won it on my birthday. (sighs) The one team I wished most to not win the Cup, and they did. I’m trying to look at the positive, a California team won it, but it’s not working for me.

    Dude, I’m a Leafs fan in hockey, and a Brewers fan in baseball. Were it not for the Green Bay Packers, I’d have no idea what playoff success looks like!
