    Personally, I’d vote for permanent disemvowelling or other appropriate troll markers, such as replacing “liar” with “(pants on fire)“.

    On the plus side, when he actually tried hiding when he came back as Morris, he was civil for almost a month.

    Funny, I don’t recall anyone here ever claiming to have a widely-read blog. A few of the loyal readers/commenters have pointed out the intimate community of commenters is part of why they come here as opposed to the big blogs.

    On principle, I say ban him. But you gotta ban the IP address. He just comes back over and over otherwise - when his presence is clearly not at all appreciated. He’s like the herpes of the comment section.

    I voted for tolerance for his inanities but have reconsidered because evil unopposed, wins. Onanism in the service of wingnut whack-jobs is no virtue.

    I often ask myself, when faced with difficult decisions such as this one, WWJD?

    Should he be treated with love, tolerance and respect? Should we turn the other cheek, despite his flagrant insults. Should we accept his human failings the way Christ did the woman taken in adultery?

    Nah…let’s follow Fred’s example Christian behavior. Let’s burn him at the stake the way they used to do.
