It’s hard to believe that it’s already been seven years since that terrible day.
The silver lining here is that we can rest easier knowing that Osama bin Laden has been captured, that the Taliban has lost their influence in Afghanistan, and that the newly-completed Freedom Tower on the WTC site stands proudly as a symbol of American resilience.
Oh, crap, never mind…

Well, we have now finally lost more soldiers in Iraq than civilians died in WTC. That’s an accomplishment, isn’t it?
And we’ve chipped away at our Constitutional freedoms! I recall George W claiming that the terrorists are “just jealous of our freedom.” So, I guess if we take away our freedom, the terrorists will leave us alone. That’s one heck of a strategy.
